Good Guy Movers started with one simple belief — people deserve movers who actually care. Before we ever had a name, a truck, or a website, we were a small family helping friends, neighbors and relatives move their homes with honesty, hard work and respect. Word spread fast, and what began as a favor turned into a reputation: “Call the good guys — they’ll take care of you.”

Twenty years later, that same family-first mindset is at the heart of everything we do. We’re a local, family-owned moving company serving Boston, Worcester and the surrounding New England region.

In most cases, yes. If we have availability we can accommodate same-day or urgent moves. Call or message us to check.

Absolutely. Our team is trained to move gun safes, home safes, upright pianos and bulky furniture. Let us know ahead of time so we bring the right equipment.

Yes — we work with all types of portable storage containers and storage units, and can load, unload and help coordinate so everything goes smoothly.

Some cities, especially Boston, require temporary parking permits so movers can park legally. If your building has a service elevator, reserve it in advance to avoid delays and extra time charges. We can guide you on both.

It depends on distance, size and the services you need. We keep pricing fair, with no surprise fees. Contact us for a free quote.
